Student Working Agreement

Welcome to the Authentic Tantra®! We are delighted to be working with you!

Your student enrollment contract contains specific details regarding your payment agreement, as well as the course outline and learning objectives. Course outline and learning objectives can also be found in your Training Vault upon enrollment.

This document contains the terms and conditions of your Training with IATE specifically as it relates to Tantra Mastery (our personal coaching program) OR Phase 1 (IT5T 101) of our Certification Program. This is a Training Service Agreement between you, the Client receiving training services, and Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd. (IATE), a business having its principal place of business in British Columbia, Canada. This Agreement is effective upon the Client’s payment for or usage of the training services, each of which constitutes Client’s agreement to these terms and conditions.

Your Training program, whether Personal (Tantra Mastery) or Professional (IT5T 101) will consist of 12 consecutive one-hour coaching sessions. Unless otherwise agreed, sessions will be scheduled for 1x per week, every week, for the first 12 weeks. Your final (13th) session will be scheduled after a 4-week integration break.

Upon receipt of your first payment, you will also receive 12-month access to Training Learning Vault which includes:

  • Gender-specific video trainings
  • Your Program Textbook
  • Elemental Meditation MP3’s
  • Gender-specific instructional videos.

Via mail you will also receive:

 * Supplemental textbook

  1. Program Policy – General Rules
    • All 13 sessions must be completed within a year.
    • Non-payment of payment installments results in suspension of all scheduled sessions and vault access until the past due payment is made.
    • Rescheduling the same session more than 2 x’s forfeits that session (unless under circumstances of life or death or serious illness).
    • Students enrolled in the Training Program specifically for the purpose of becoming certified in Authentic Tantra are expected to apply for and if accepted, enroll the following year’s training program. The prerequisite status will be granted for a total of 2 training years,  (i.e. students enrolled in Phase 1 are expected to enroll in Phase 2 the following year. If this is not possible, the student will still be eligible for Phase 2 one year later as space allows, and at the discretion of the Senior Instructors, based upon the application, logbook, and consultation results.)

2. Dismissal From The Tantra Mastery Training Program – 2022

A student may be dismissed from the Tantra Mastery Program under the following conditions:

  • Student stops payment
  • Student does not show up for 2 or more sessions without notice
  • Student requests to be removed from the program
  • Student violates any terms and conditions of contract
  • Student violates the code of ethics

 

Process for removal:

  • Students Access to Tantra Mastery vault revoked
  • Personal Sessions will be canceled
  • Access to personal training videos in dropbox up to that point may be revoked depending upon circumstance for removal

 

3. Payment Terms and Conditions: 

All payments paid by the Client are non-refundable (with the exceptions as stated below) and will be considered earned upon receipt.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Client shall pay all installments by the due date specified above. Late payments are subject to interest at the rate of 1% per month or 12% annually. If Client becomes delinquent and such account is sent to a collections agency, attorney or becomes the subject of litigation, Client is liable for the payments due, interest charges at the set forth rate and the costs and expenses of collections and/or actual attorney fees, and all of the preceding during pre and post-judgment through any appeal and actual collection.

If Client disputes any Invoice, he shall provide Written Notice outlining the dispute in detail within three business days of receipt of the invoice; failure to provide timely Written Notice waives all right to dispute Invoices. The client will pay for all amounts of any Invoice that are not in dispute.

Additionally, our government mandated refund policy is as follows:

1. If Institute of Authentic Tantra Education (herein referred to as IATE) receives tuition from the student, or a person on behalf of the student, the institution will refund the student, or the person who paid on behalf of the student, the tuition that was paid in relation to your Training Program in which the student is enrolled if:


a. the institution receives a notice of withdrawal from the student, no later than seven days after the effective contract date and before the contract start date; or
b. the student signs the student enrollment contract seven days or less before the contract start date and the institution receives a notice of withdrawal from the student, between the date the student signed the student enrollment contract and the contract start date.


2. IATE will refund 100% of the tuition for your training program and all related fees paid by the student or a person on behalf of the student enrolled in the program if the student is enrolled in the program without having met the admission requirements and did not misrepresent his or her knowledge or skills when applying for admission.

3. If IATE receives a notice of withdrawal from a student:


a. more than 7 days after the effective contract date and at least 30 days before the start date IATE may retain up to 10% of the tuition due under the student enrollment contract, up to a maximum of $1,000 (in currency paid). After the contract start date any unused portion of the training will be refunded.
b. more than 7 days after the effective contract date and less than 30 days before the start date IATE may retain up to 20% of the tuition due under the student enrollment contract, up to a maximum of $1,300(in currency paid).


4. If IATE receives a student's notice of withdrawal or the institution delivers a notice of dismissal to the student and


a. the student has completed up to 30% of the program of instruction, the institution may retain up to 30% of the tuition due under the student enrollment contract, or
b. the student has completed more than 30% but less than 50% of the program of instruction, the institution may retain up to 50% of the tuition due under the student enrollment contract.


5. IATE will refund 100% of the tuition and all related fees, other than application fees, if both of the following apply:


a. The student does not attend the program, and
b. The institution receives from the student a notice of withdrawal or a copy of refusal of a study permit no later than 30 days after the later of:


i. the start date of the program in the most recent Letter of Acceptance
ii. the start date of the program in the enrolment contract.


6. Refunds required under this policy will be paid to the student, or a person who paid the tuition or fees on behalf of the student, within 30 days:


a. of the date IATE receives a student’s notice of withdrawal,
b. of the date IATE provides a notice of dismissal to the student,
c. of the date that the registrar provides notice to IATE that the institution is not complying with this policy.

 

Confidentiality and Intellectual Property:

While performing under this Agreement, both parties may be exposed to confidential and trade secret information of the other or third parties’ businesses ("Confidential Information"). Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd. Confidential Information includes, without limitation, this Agreement, pricing, business plans, partnership/affiliation arrangements, financing arrangements, sources of services and goods, costs, profits, methods of instruction, personnel information, and financial data in any form disclosed. Client Confidential Information includes any written or electronic information marked or referred to as confidential. Confidential Information does not include information which either party shows is or becomes generally known by the public other than as a result of a disclosure by it, and information which either party can show was known by it prior to performance of Services. A receiving party agrees not to disclose, in any form, oral, electronic or paper, disclosing party’s Confidential Information by any means to any third party, and to use such only for the purposes of this Agreement during the Term of this Agreement and for a period of three years thereafter.

 

Terms of Use:

No Company Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, reposted, transmitted, taught or used professionally, distributed, used for public or commercial purposes, or downloaded in any way unless written permission is expressly granted by the Company. Modification of the Content or use of the Content for any other purpose is a violation of the copyright and other proprietary rights of the Company, as well as other authors who created the materials, and may be subject to monetary damages and penalties. You may not distribute, modify, transmit or use the content of the Site or any Content, including any and all software, tools, graphics and/or sound files, for public or commercial purposes without the express written permission of the Company.

Additionally, the student agrees that they are not allowed to teach or use any of the information taught in the program in a professional capacity until you have met all of the requirements of the IATE Certification Program.

 

Additionally, these terms apply:

1. The client understands that the Training Program and all Authentic Tantra Coaching is a personal growth-oriented program and is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment or diagnosis.

2. The client is of sound body and mind and has no undisclosed professionally diagnosed mental, physical, or emotional disturbances.

3. The client understands that Tantra Coaching work is sexual in nature and may be at times emotionally, mentally and physically challenging.

4. Client will not hold Devi Ward Erickson, Alaina Salks, Dr. Chris Erickson, Directors, Instructors, founders, shareholders, practitioners, staff, affiliates, associates, of and or Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd. personally responsible for any mental, emotional, financial or physical injury which client experiences during or after agreed-upon coaching program, which may or may not be related to information presented during or in the course materials.

5. Client understands that all information, printed or recorded, during or as part of this program is copyrighted and trademarked material, and cannot be re-recorded, reproduced, reprinted, or shared in anyway privately, publicly or professionally, without the express permission of Devi Ward Erickson and Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd. The client understands and agrees that all training received is for personal use only and cannot be shared or taught professionally until such time as the Client is Certified by IATE and remains Certified, Licensed, and in good standing.

6. The client understands that all information shared and received by the practitioner and client/student is confidential and may not be shared publicly in any way whatsoever.

7. The client understands the program investment is non-refundable unless canceled by the Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd.

8. Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd. reserves the right to terminate the program if practitioners deem the program relationship to no longer be beneficial to either party and will refund client's balance for any unused sessions, in accord with the PTIB mandated refund policy.

9. All video sessions will be recorded and practitioners of Authentic Tantra reserve the right to share client sessions in a confidential and discreet manner with supervisors for training purposes or in cases of legal dispute.

10. Successful completion of the Training Program can be used as a prerequisite for the Certification Program within 2 years of registration for the Tantra Mastery program OR Phase 1 of ATCP. Successful completion includes attendance for all 13 individual sessions, completion of assigned homework and completion and submission of program workbook.

11. The client agrees to provide 24 hours notice for rescheduling sessions and understands that missed sessions or rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiting the session, with the exception of emergencies.

12. The client understands that participation in and successful completion of the Training Program does not guarantee acceptance in the Certification Program, which is at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Authentic Tantra Education Ltd. and subject to availability and a Consultation Program interview.
