How can we forge deep pleasurable relationships with the world around us?

I mean reveling in fresh dew drops on a day lily leaf in the misty morning. 💧🌱
Or saying hello to and thanking the spiders in your basement for their presence and pest control. 🕷️🕸️

What about communicating clearly and asking your partner for the things you REALLY want?

🗣️🗣️🗣️

Many folks have not considered using the cracks to get to the light!

There is not enough attention to these details. We are sold poison to kill bugs. Rain is a nuisance that we stay inside to hide from. And fears around not being seen as normal might keep us from communicating or expressing our true selves!

This can be due to many things, such as:

Lack of education ~ the society we are socialized into holds capital as religion, anything straying from that norm will not be easy to access.

Lack of awareness ~ if you were not introduced to these concepts either because of location, family or otherwise, you might not be aware that another way exists.

Lack of sensation ~ disassociation is such a smart move, many of us are checked out for safety and don’t even realize it!

If your curiosity is piqued, fantastic!

I invite you to come explore a playful world of queer theory, Tibetan Tantra, nature’s benefits and more in this 3 hour course.

In this non-judgmental container we’ll explore what we can learn from the margins, or what Dr. Bayo Akomolafe calls ‘the cracks’.

Join in this space to discover and experience how we can be in respectful and right relationship in the world around us; how communicating with our darkest desires might bring us to the light; and how the Tibetan Tantra 5 element system plays a role as healing modality.

Rogue Ryder

I’m a queer, genderfucked sensual educator and tantric guide, a multi-ethnic performer, artist, and athlete. As such, I was fed up with Tantra being dominated by cis-het dudes in linen pants, and people spiritually bypassing very real worldly traumas. Queering Tantra is sensual guidance for the whole person and was founded to step outside the dominant societal norms of most sex and Tantra. The queering lens gives us more freedom and accessibility, for all bodies and sexualities.

I’ve been practicing kink for many years, sexually healing my own trauma along the way. I’m a certified Authentic Tantra practitioner of 8 years. My practice combines BDSM/kink, Tibetan Tantra, somatic awareness, breathwork, movement, and a number of other tools.

As a certified Athletic Trainer with a background in dance, combat sports, and rock climbing, I bring a unique mixture of play, practice, and praxis to all my work.

Course Outline

Part 1

Introduction to queer theory

The patriarchal world assimilates us into certain prescribed roles, to varying degrees of our consent. We cannot question them, if we do not first recognize them. There is deep pleasure and joy in choosing the role you most desire!
Part 2

Foundations of dominant norms, socialization and gender

We swim in the water of societal norms and often cannot see where we are held in its sheer matrix. It can be easy to lose the very feral base of who we could be in the milieu of dominant norms around us.
Part 3

Introduction to kink/BDSM

Using the tools of taboo sex and play to allow ourselves to dig into shame, arousal, and more extreme methods of getting present.
Part 4

Tantra, the Tibetan 5 elements and kink

How each element relates to kinky acts/the tantric system AND how our natural world can get us in touch with our feral queerness.
Part 5

Relational intersectionality

Engaging in an intentional relationship with the world around you can be deeply healing for you and the world around you.
Part 6

Weaving in nature's benefits

How nature plays a role in our well being and Elemental tantric nature exploration. Nature is something often thought to be exploited and used. As Robin Kimmerer points out in Braiding Sweetgrass how we call our world ‘natural resources.’
Part 7

Using space element in Authentic Tantra®

Tibetan Tantra space element practice, as an intro to cultivating practice with meditation
Part 8

Invitation to create ritual

The importance of ritual and ritual creation through tantra, kink, and the elements

All folks of any and all backgrounds welcomed.

Must be at least 18 years old to attend.
