Can Dominance Be Spiritual?
(The Answer Might Surprise You)

Power, Pleasure, and Deep Connection
Â
When people think about BDSM or Dominance, they often picture something harsh, edgy, or even cold.
But here’s the truth:
Domination — when approached consciously and ethically — can be one of the most spiritual and connected experiences you’ll ever have.
at its heart, dominance is about:
- Deep listening
- Radical presence
- Sacred trust
- Intentional and Consensual power exchange
It’s about creating a container so safe and loving that you and your partner(s) can fully surrender to the moment — whether you are the one guiding or the one following.
Â
ethical domination means honouring your own desires and your partner’s boundaries.
It means recognizing the profound responsibility you have when someone offers you their submission.
Â
It means weaving care, communication, and consent into every moment of play.
And when done well?
It can feel holy.
It can feel like coming home.

About Rosie...
Rosie Bitts is a multi-award-winning performer, author, educator, certified Sexologist, and Tantrica. With nearly two decades of experience in the world of erotic arts, Rosie has helped thousands of people reconnect to their sensuality, creativity, and pleasure.
She’s one of the pioneers who brought neo-burlesque to Vancouver Island, a certified practitioner of Authentic Tantra, and a Vajrayana Buddhist in the Shangpa Kagyu lineage.
Her work bridges the sacred and the sensual, guiding people to integrate their spirituality, sexuality, and full-bodied self-expression in deeply personal and empowering ways.
For over a decade, Rosie has also worked as a Professional Dominatrix, supporting clients in exploring conscious BDSM through care, consent, and radical presence. Her approach to Dominance is rooted in ethics, embodiment, and emotional intelligence, and she believes that power dynamics, when held with integrity, can be a profound path to connection, healing, and personal transformation.
Rosie describes herself as a pleasure activist, and she teaches from the belief that pleasure is not a luxury — it’s a birthright, and one of our most potent tools for healing and growth.
Her teachings are accessible, trauma-informed, and infused with a generous dose of playfulness and wisdom. Whether you’re curious about exploring your dominant side or just starting your journey into conscious kink, Rosie offers a safe, non-judgmental space to learn, grow, and get turned on by your own power.
She teaches classes, workshops, and retreats online and in person around the world.
